1.) Sutton Hoo
Sutton hoo is located near Woodbridge, Suffolk, England. It is the place of an early medieval burial land which includes the cenotaph or grave of an Anglo-Saxon king. This burial ground is spread over 245 acres and is among Britain’s most important archaeological sites. It was discovered in 1939. The excavations included a ship burial of an Anglo-Saxon warrior King inclusive of a helmet, weapons and royal treasure.
