Things to Do in San Diego

San Diego is a one of the major in California, it is situated on the coast of the Pacific Ocean in Southern California, approximately about 120 miles south of LA and immediately adjacent to the borderline with Mexico. San Diego is the second largest in California and  eighth largest city in the USA. It’s throughout the year mild climate makes it great tourist places and can be visited by any month of the time, the weather will always be pleasant. It is also known for its gorgeous extensive beaches and deep water harbor. It’s recent  and is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches, recently it also emerged as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. There are lots of things to do in San Diego which you would never forget.

Historically it was home to the Kumeyaay people, San Diego which was the first land visited by Europeans on  is now the West Coast of the United States. San Diego is known for its  parks, beaches, and warm climate, a city on the Pacific coast of California. Balboa park site which is the world renowned San Diego Zoo also holds art galleries, museums, gardens and studios which nobody should  miss watching. It is also a home to a large naval fleet, an aircraft carrier turned into the museum and also opened to the public.

A genuine problem which may arise while planning a vacation to San Diego is deciding what to do and where to go because it has a lot of options for you to enjoy, even if you have visited several times on your next visit it offers something new and amazing which will leave you mesmerized. With loads of options for activities to try, regions to explore and attractions to enjoy, you’ll find something new at each time you visit over there. San Diego offers a lot, more than you can hold on, being a world famous tourist place it offers unlimited outdoor recreation, numerous sightseeing tours, great restaurants to gorge in, arts and culture community. you will surely find a lot of things to inspire and entertain yourself over there. The best thing probably to do in San Diego is probably to do nothing at all with large stretching beaches, uncountable gardens and parks many spas and resorts you just need to chill and do nothing at all. 1.) Go to SeaWorld

Sea world has ocean theme chained parks. the main attraction here is Shamu, the killer whale. visit here should probably be on the top of the list of things to do in San Diego. Here shows are central to the sea world experience and you will get many shows like that, you will also get to see marine creatures and may get an opportunity to feed them if you get lucky you can touch and feed them as well. Recently sea world has also added few kids water play area and few rides for kids. it will take almost a half day to see the whole sea world, in the evening, don’t miss to see the firework display which is great.

Despite repeated visits, people always have more fun at Sea World than they expect to have. A smile is contagious and you would feel good and happy here seeing everyone happy and smiling, this place is full of happy people, this place is also well maintained and the animals are interesting what more else anyone can need?

The first European to set foot in California was the Spanish explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, who stepped on shore near this spot in 1542. The people who make up here nowadays get some of the best views of San Diego and is probably very beautiful things to do in San Diego, looking across the Bay and back toward downtown. Besides the great views, there’s a historic lighthouse, a visitor center, some nice tide pools down below and good whale-watching in the winter.

2.) Take Your Kids Along

There are amazing things to do in San Diego for Kids. Lego land is one of such places, here life-sized cops, dinosaurs, and another lot of creative things are made up from the Lego blocks decorating the park. there are also safe and amazing rides available for the kids which they would love to do. Lego land has an age limit so that kids can enjoy with their age group. Adults have very fewer options available here to do. they can visit the Sea Life Aquarium or Birch Aquarium but your kid is definitely gonna love this place. Lego land is north of San Diego and you can reach that place by driving.

3.) Visit Zoo Safari Park

  • San Diego Zoo offers a different kind of animal experience which you might have never felt. The name of the Zoo is Safari Park, this zoo has a lot of animals living in the same big open area. Prey and predators are kept away from each other except that everything is exact like the natural habitat. the most highlighted thing is the safari-style tour which will make you feel connected with nature and it would be the closest interaction you will ever have with animals.
  • Given San Diego’s military ties, it’s the perfect place to turn a 972-foot-long aircraft carrier into a tourist attraction. Before you move on, thinking the last thing you want to do is visit an old ship, no matter how big it is and its appeal seems to attract all ages and genders and make one of the greatest things to do in San Diego.

Navy carrier of the 20th century and largest ship in the world from 1945 to 1955, carrying more than 4,000 people. Besides the big ship – which is impressive enough by itself – you’ll find more than 25 aircraft on display, a fraction of its theoretical capacity of more than 100. The Midway is located along the waterfront, between the cruise ship terminal and Seaport Village, easily accessible by foot from downtown and the Gaslamp. If you’re getting there from somewhere else, the San Diego Trolley stops three blocks from USS Midway at the Santa Fe Depot. The Hop On-Hop Off Trolley also stops here as well as other sights, and it’s a good way to get around town without driving and parking hassles.

4.) Eat & Shop at La Jolla

Who doesn’t like a peaceful and beautiful environment sitting on the cliffs and enjoying the ocean? LA Jolla is the term derived from Spanish it literally translates to ‘the Jewel’. The Mediterranean style place is very beautiful and a great attraction for visitors and also one of the favorite place of visitors.
