Williamsburg is an independent city in Virginia, U.S. It is located in the northern part of the Hampton Roads metropolitan area. It is bordered by James City County and York County. The city has miles of fabulous trails. There are 3 important groups  linked by the Colonial Parkway. It extends 23 miles from the James River to the York River.
